What a gift to know that my father’s final days were spent in the care of the staff at the Lavie Adult Family Home.
His needs were met with professional skills that I was not able to provide and with a grace that only comes from a seasoned caregiver.

My brother received excellent care from Carla and her wonderful staff, but more than the medical care, he received love and compassion from them. His last few months had been very difficult and they handled it so professionally but always with love for him as a person and for us as his family. Carla went to the hospital with him and stayed until we could get there. They really care about their patients and their families. God Bless you Carla and staff.
My mother is given excellent care here at Lavie Adult Family Home. The staff is caring, and treat my mother with respect and affection; like family. The home is clean and safe. The meals are healthy and smell so good when you walk in! And, there are parties and get-togethers for birthdays, Halloween/fall, Christmas, Easter, etc. Carla and her staff give my mom the best of care and and give our family peace of mind.

Finding the right place for a parent is one of the hardest decisions a family can make, and I am so grateful we found LAVIE Adult Family Home. My father has been a resident since October 2025, and from day one, the difference has been undeniable.
What sets LAVIE apart is the genuine, one-on-one attention my father receives. He isn’t just a resident — he’s treated like family. The caregivers know his personality, his preferences, and his needs, and they meet him with patience, warmth, and real compassion every single day. That kind of personalized care is rare and priceless.
The home itself is clean, safe, and welcoming — the kind of environment where you can walk in and immediately feel at ease. Knowing that experienced nursing professionals are behind the care philosophy gives our family tremendous confidence. We don’t just feel like our father is being managed — we feel like he is truly being cared for.
As a family member, the peace of mind LAVIE has given us is immeasurable. We can visit and see him thriving. We can step away and trust completely that he is in good hands. That trust doesn’t come easily — LAVIE has earned it.

My mom is receiving quality care at this adult family home, which is clean, bright, and welcoming. The environment truly feels like a home, not a facility.
The staff are one of the biggest strengths here. They communicate clearly and consistently with our family. They are knowledgeable and attentive, especially when it comes to managing medications, and it’s reassuring to know there is always an awake caregiver on duty overnight. The regular visits from a nurse practitioner are another huge plus and add an extra layer of professional oversight.
What really stands out most is the sense of teamwork. It genuinely feels like the staff, provider, and our family are all working together with mom’s best interests at heart. That level of collaboration is something you don’t find everywhere, and it makes a big difference.
They also make an effort to build a sense of community. The holiday celebrations—especially the Christmas and Thanksgiving dinners—were wonderful, with family-friendly activities that made those days feel special and inclusive.
The residents participate in daily armchair exercises, which is great to see. And there is a small outdoor garden area. If there’s one area for potential improvement, it would be adding a bit more variety in activities or occasional outings for residents. My mom is fortunate to have family who can take her out, but it would be nice to see more built-in opportunities for engagement and stimulation.
Overall, this home provides compassionate, attentive care in a warm and supportive environment. I’m truly grateful for everything they do.
